Hotel Plutitor Splendid

Hotel Splendid is a ship converted into a cozy hotel, in the heart of the Danube Delta, close to Crisan village. Cruises can be requested, but as well as boat trips on the desired routes may be required. Very clean, pleasant environment, prepared with absolutely delicious fishing, all the staff very kind, we spent 3 wonderful days. I highly recommend; I think it is by far the best choice to visit the Danube Delta.

Floating on the tranquil waters of the old Danube canal, in the middle of a wonderful nature and spoiled with the culinary delights brought to the highest of the hotel's highly qualified and friendly staff, it is a delight and a pleasant surprise for any kind of tourist!

We were there as a family: 4 adults and a child ... and we had a wonderful time for 3 days and 2 nights!!!

The staff was amazing, pleasant, helpful ... we were treated as we would be home ... They were also fishing with us and made us feel like home indeed! The cook makes a wonderful fish soup called "storceag" in Romanian which I really recommend! 

The hotel has all  the amenities: rooms first floor, restaurant and deck second floor and a big deck on the third floor with unobstructed view of the channels and a jacuzzi we enjoyed.

They also have smaller boats for touring the channels, and we took a tour with them to Letea Forest in the early morning to avoid the traffic on the small canals.

If one has a chance to spend only few days on this hotel, will be delighted!

We came here for a party of almost 30 people. The rooms are big enough with a double bad and aircon, the bathroom has a huge shower and a toilette. The restaurant is nice and spacious. The staff is good and friendly. They have speedboats and they take you anywere in the delta. The food was good and fresh. The Danube Delta is a place you have to visit in a lifetime. If you come here, go stay at this hotel.

large rooms and luxurious with all facilities, TV, air conditioning, hydromassage shower, safe, minibar, etc.
good food with specific fish (I served your real delicacies)
staff very friendly and smiling, very attentive to our desires.
The restaurant is very large with big windows and during the meal can admire nature.
n this holiday I went to many trips and visited many beautiful objectives in the Danube Delta, Letea Forest, Sulina city, the fishing village Mila 23.
We did our beach and we relaxed in the Jacuzzi on the terrace. Here we saw the most spectacular sunsets
Every day never missed fishing contests.
We will definitely return to this hotel which is really SPLENDID
