Our holiday started badly when the taxi driver dropped us off at the wrong Phoenicia Hotel - despite me handing him the confirmation clearly showing it... Luckily, the other one was only about 15-20 mins walk away... (It was about 40 degrees outside..)Upon arrival, it was all I had expected.. Reception staff were very nice & spoke very good English.. The room was very nice & the beds were very comfy.. I never really used the hotels facilities, but they looked very good...All that said - I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.. I went to watch my local team play in a Europa League qualifier..The only problem for me was the location in relation to the Old Town bars, where all the fans were congregating... It was a 30ish min journey in a taxi. I would also say - if you are getting a taxi - get your hotel or restaurant to get you one... They will be the more honest ones & therefore a lot cheaper..
