Mihai and Rodica couldn't be more welcoming and charming. From the first moment until the last they make you seem like you are at home with them. Most of the food is grown within 200 yards of the property and yet the variety is fantastic

The best experience with a mountain accomodation. Extraordinary people the owners, you can tell they enjoy this and they want to make the guest as comfortable as they can. Every thing was very clean and nice, it's not pretentious but is exactly what you need from a mountain caban. You can even ask for food, what ever you like they will try to make it, or simply just ask for what they have, The food is great, home made with love. :) If you stay in the evening with the owners you will hear the coolest travel stories from around the world, they're two pasionate globetrotters.
Outisde they have places to stay, chat, sunbathe or even sleep. There is a separate place where you cand eat or drink, during the day or night and in the summer it's half open like a terrace. There is a small parking lot, a small store right in front and some restaurants nearby.

We had a wonderful stay and hope to get back there for a longer time.

Hille Guesthouse is the place where foreign tourists can indeed enjoy the Romanian spirit. It should be an icon for Romania as people from all over the world come here yearly. For Romanian tourists, Hille Guesthouse is the second home because the owners, Mihai and Rodica are great "parents" and friends. It's impossible not to love them.

Excellent hosts who did much to make our three night stay so enjoyable. Mihail spoke good English and provided walking info including loan of maps. He welcomes you with his own tuica (brandy) and each evening meal started with one of his own aperitifs - and his wine during. Can't recommend Rodica's food highly enough, for carnivores and veggies alike. The portions weren't for the fainthearted so we had diifficulty keeping trim! Although the ensuite bathroom was a bit small, the double room itself was light and clean. There was a shared corridor outside the two rooms on each floor which was good for relaxing and through the large windows there was a rural view laid out beneath the mountains. Useful having access to a fridge for a few items. Very homely stay for our three nights there.

Great and quiet place. 
Rodica and Mihai are always carefull with tourist. 
Ask for traditional food, they are using local fresh ingredients. We had a great 3 years old white wine from personal production.

I had just completed a 2-day hike from Busteni, and this was a perfect ending and a great place to chill. The room itself was super comfortable, with large windows overlooking the village. The bed & linen comfortable, everything super clean.  Food was great!  The hosts really went out of their way to make this a wonderful stay.  A memorable stay!

The village Magura is situated on the circumference of  a beautiful swiss-like valley and the view is almost heart-stopping although getting there requires driving a gravel road.
We (a couple) were welcomed by the owner, Michai, with a glass of home-made brandy - Zuika - and cherry liquer along with fresh cherries from his trees.
We received a large room which has a third bed and thus only one side of our double-bed had a small table; except that (and a cupboard) there was nothing more though there are 2 chairs in the adjucent enclosed balcony enabled sitting and relaxing. The bathroom was elementary equipped with not even a shelf to put our stuff.
The large window of the room is equiped with a thin curtain which allows the morning sunlight to enter and awoke us very early. 
As the the village has no restaurant we ordered in advance dinner and also breafast for the coming day - both were a great disappointment.
The dinner (7 Euro each) consisted of cabage rolls (for me stuffed with minced meat and vegeterian for my wife), one polenta dish and for desert crepes with (home-made) jam.
For breakfast (5 € X2) we each received a small plate including an omlet, several pieces from different cheeses, some slices of vegetables (tomato, pepper, cucumber), bread (the toaster had a malfunction) and coffee. Eventually the average cost of the room (28 €) became expensive without equal value.
Both meals cannot be compared with other we head in guesthouses, as well as in restaurants.
