We had a very nice room with a terrace near the small crick. The owner is very nice and helpful and more than happy to help with information. The area is very nice and it's a great location for a restful weekend or a small vacation. I do recommend this place!

Very nice and clean place, rooms are very big and well-equipped with the the finest furniture you can find in a hotel. Window view is incredibly nice, you see the mountains from every window you look and there is a nice river that passes right behind the hotel.

From the hotel you can rent ATV's, trips on the mountains and others + it has a very nice terrasse outside where you can relax and a big enough parking lot.

Owner and staff are very nice and professional people.

If you are looking for a great place to stay in CHEIA, I would highly recommend PENSIUNEA SILVIAN.

The property is located by Teleajean river and the double room with terrace have an exquisite view what can be admired from comfortable chairs. The room smell nice, very clean and quite.Greeted with a smile.The onwers and the staff were very helpful and attentive,free parking,a nice bar with a multiple choice of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverage. Great restaurant, tasty and fresh food at a good price.Location is good for traveling (by car) to Suzana monastery,Muntele Rosu,Muntele Ciucas and walking distance from Cheia monastery.

Excellent location

Best place to stay in CHEIA

Very nice location!

Though quite basic and with some rather ancient plumbing, this is a good choice as a base to explore the local hills and Natura 2000 sites.  The rooms are quite spacious and clean and are approached up a winding staircase with views over the valley.  There is parking across the street.  The strength of this place is its simple Romanian country cooking - good breakfasts with cooked dishes to order and, for our group, a limited choice of 2-3 evening dishes but everything tasty and well prepared y friendly staff.  I would score it as "very good" but suspect that it might be a bit simple and basic for some travellers.  However, for our purpose (working in the forests above the village), it was perfect preparing hearty food and a comfortable night's sleep.

A good base for the hills

This is not a four star pension. it's hard to find, and the service is bad. We had a studio with one double room and a couch. What was incredible was the price policy- it is unbelievable that you have to pay extra if you want linen for the extensible couch! Another annoying thing was that the cleaning lady gave us the empty garbage bag to put into the trash. The bath was small and with low sanitary materials. You cannot serve anything within their restaurant during the week.
