Vilamoura Oasis Family Duplex

My review: We at Salaam Cycling Club are a group of middle aged men in lycra! 18 of our club members came along this year. It took quite a while to find a suitable villa due to the high number of guests. I initially found the villa advertised on Airbnb but also found their own website which offered a more competitive price. I'm ordinarily very cautious of dealing direct with villa owners due to scams but I was quickly assured of Fabio's authenticity. We arrived a few hours early whilst the villa was undergoing it's intense clean from the previous family's stay. But we were allowed to leave our luggage on site and put all our food items that we had brought along with us in the fridge/freezers. The property was then handed over to us at 4pm and we were given a full tour and given all necessary information. The villa is large but at the same time it has a cosy and close feel to it. Nothing is too far away so communicating with each other was really easy. The presentation of the bedrooms and bathrooms are on par with 5 star hotels. Multiple bathroom and separate pool towels were provided. There's a very large washing machine on site too if any washing needs to be done. The kitchen is large with 2 big fridge/freezers which was important with so many people in our group who all liked their drinks chilled. The barbeques and grill plate were used often The pool was heated in advance for us and was well used especially after our long bike rides in the 30 deg heat. The storage area had plenty of sports equipment and large inflatables for the pool. The putting green was enjoyed by some of our group. There were seating chill zones and fridges on each floor and outside too. We were allowed to put our expensive bikes in a secure locked area too. There's been a lot of thought put into the layout of this villa. We hope to visit again next year. Thank you Fabio! The best part of our stay: Fabio's communication and assistance was key to our stay being successful. I made multiple requests which were all carried out without any fuss. That included purchasing items on our behalf prior to us arriving to save us time looking for things out there. Quite simply the best host we've ever had. With a large group of men, having individual beds was very important to us and this villa delivered in every aspect with it's 9 rooms and multiple beds and bathrooms spread across 3 floors. There are very few villas with these facilities. Would I improve something: Genuinely, there was not much we could ask Fabio to improve on. I mentioned a few minor things like utensils, cookware items and multiple appliance socket lead that would have been helpful which were noted by Fabio and no doubt he will address. Our previous villa had a small ice making machine which would have been helpful and well used. But none of these hindered the stay and we managed more than adequately. There weren't any tennis players amongst us to make use of the 2 tennis courts. Perhaps adding some football goals either side on one court with the tennis net removed might have been a good option for footy lovers.
