The hotel is old and in need of renovation, above all the seats, but in general it is quite good and the price is also very nice, the staff was very friendly, they have a private parking lot, a small free room and a courtyard with very nice tables. It is a 10 minute walk from the center. Everything was very clean and in front there is a bakery for breakfast alone across the street. The worst thing is that there are many stairs and the rooms are a little small and the furniture and curtains are old and the old TV. Also the curtains in the bathroom no longer look anti-hygienic to me.

Excellent service. It has a large patio where we can have breakfast. The breakfast is simple but very good. They let us buy food outside and eat on the patio and also provided us with individual cutlery and individual rooms. Clean, spacious and smelly room. Good wifi. Cable TV with children's channels and others. Very fresh AC. Lucia and the other employees are always very requested and available to help us and take questions. Free parking and inside the property. Sources where you take pictures. Typical decoration. Good quality-for-price. An experience to repeat for sure!

Fourth Triple

Our room was poor but, it was the last one and for last minute unloading at a very low price it was good. The cleaning was impeccable, the sheets smelled clean. The room had TV, air conditioning and hygiene products. The breakfast was not very varied, only the essential cheese, starch, butter, coffee, milk, teas. Here you can improve. The accommodation has a private park, restaurant that at the moment I think is not working due to the pandemic situation. The owner was very correct, well attended.

To unwind at the last minute

This accommodation was a pleasant surprise that surpassed expectations. Extremely clean room, fresh and neat furniture, painted walls of soft and sober colour. Everything very clean. The toilet was very clean and the bathroom was very good. The common areas were very clean and smelled very well. It has a very good courtyard where we had breakfast, to the sound of water falling in a small garden. The breakfast is enough, just for the price paid. The only thing to improve is the lighting of the room, which is a little weak.

You exceeded expectations!

One day's stay to get to know Vila Real. The residence matched the needs, very helpful staff and friendly hospitality, good breakfast, price on account.

Pleasant

This is an accommodation which is nice for a stop-over and only for sleeping, but not if you are looking for a relaxing home-base. Me and my boyfriend stayed for three days in a room on the first floor which hadn't been renovated yet like the other rooms (on the ground floor). It had quite a dank smell, of water that has been hanging around too long. The bed was quite hard and uncomfortable (I think for a one-night stay it would be fine) and there was no reading lamp. So if my boyfriend wanted to sleep and I wanted to read, someone had to compromise. The only outside space is a terrace where you can order dinner in the evenings, but the lights go off after dinner, so you cannot relax and sit outside on your own in the evenings. The family who runs the place is lovely though, and the lady/mother of the house is amazingly friendly. She does the cooking for the guests herself. One time we were asking if they had pizza. It wasn't on the menu but then she just disappeared off into the kitchen for almost an hour cooking pizza for us! Another plus is that there is a parking area on the premises and breakfast included. The breakfast is simple but it was all we needed to start our day. 

Super friendly host, didn't like the accommodation much

We arrived at the residence late (after the set time for check-in), and we tried to warn, since we had made a trip of about 500 km and we were late. Since 7 o'clock we tried to contact the establishment, which did not happen, the cell phone number on the page was off and everyone else on the internet was not working. Well, we arrived there about 10:30 o'clock and we checked in without any problems. Very nice employee! We arrived at the room, a very expensive room down the hall, and when we opened the door, I smelled the mold and look of the very old room! Furniture, mattresses of the last century. However, everything seemed clean. No, it still looked like an old door, a very strange lunch, I had no idea where. I left the window and the door open, and the next room was just a simple one, and we still asked to use it when we were up in the room, and the room was very simple.

The worst room ever!

It's a typical motel. It's not far from the city center, on a highway. It's convenient if you're in a car. There's a big parking lot in the yard. The windows come out of the road if you open it. It's noisy. There's a TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning. It's a good bathroom.

A normal motel to stay overnight.

The +: very friendly staff, clean hotel, spacious room, air conditioned, parking behind the hotel, wifi, breakfast included and the price (35€ room). The -: no summers on the bed but a kind of board that not only makes noise when you turn around but is especially uncomfortable!

Good for the price

Spacious rooms, clean, no frills, corner bar to relax under a porch with a cool beer, and most of all the kindness of the staff who have excelled in helping us solve a problem with the rental car, and when in a hotel without too much pretence you feel at home, you can't ask for more.
