We found this place completely by chance after we were trying to escape from awful accommodation in Coimbra. This was on our way to our next destination and we were able to book two nights. If I had known about Casas do Soito beforehand, I would have booked for the entire holiday. It is fabulous. The accommodation is spacious and modern with some great design features (loved the Kartell Worm Bookshelf). We had access to two balconies, one of which holds the pool. It's not a big pool, but really was fine for our needs and the views are incredible. I honestly couldn't believe our luck in finding this place. Lusitana is a wonderful hostess and every morning baked us a fresh loaf and cake for breakfast. The road to get up to the villa is very steep and quite tricky to navigate, but Lusitana will direct as necessary and even go to the supermarket with you if you are stuck! Had I not booked the next stage of our journey I would have asked to stay longer. We were all sorry to leave and I would definitely like to come back.
