10 reviewsCasa do Engenho - better than a 5-star anything! Beautiful inside and out with every imaginable comfort, including the most gracious hosts Monica and Sandra. They take Airbnb hospitality to a new level. The apartment was spacious, private, secure, spotless, the beds super comfortable, the bedding and bath linens beautifully embroidered and plush. The kitchen was perfectly furnished for cooking, the air-conditioning was fantastic and we loved the eco-friendly lighting. Outdoor space lovely with a deck as well as grassy areas overlooking the river, like something out of a storybook! Monica was so accommodating with every ask and was always prompt to respond. We will miss her, miss the comfort and the rhythm of the river and just about everything at Casa do Engenho. We were sad to leave and will most definitely return.
