Joke's and Wim's B&B was a perfect hideaway in a small, quiet village up in the hills just 40 minutes away from Coimbra. The place radiates so much love to detail for making you enjoy the landscape and relax at day and night. Joke and Wim were amazing hosts, starting your day with a delicious breakfast, helping with valuable recommendations (from where to park in Coimbra to where to eat at the next small town) and talking to you about the bigger and smaller topics of Portugal and their village. On our visit to Coimbra we actually "hurried back" to enjoy a late afternoon on the terrace, taking in the sunset, having a walk across the village and eventually red wine under the stars. We stayed just two nights... having wished we had planned for more. Thanks to Joke and Wim.
