Easy check in friendly staff . Clean and comfortable room in good location. Close to dining beach and metro.

This guesthouse is clean,  bright and freshly renovated.   Above all,  the location is great for getting about as its about 50metres from Matosinhos Sul Metro Station that can get you to and from the airport or Porto very quickly, cheaply and efficiently. We were walking the Camino and it was a great location for that.   There is a bakery next door for morning coffee,  tea and pastries.   A supermarket less than 5min walk away,  and the beach and tourist office is just 2-3 minutes away.   The walk into Foz do Douro or Porto along the promenade is quite pleasant (5km to Foz and about 11km all up to Porto.....or travelling north), dotted with restaurants or cafes along the way.    The staff at the guesthouse were very helpful and pleasant.   The only negative thing I could say is that the room and bathroom were exceptionally small,  though the shower cubicle itself was of a reasonable size.  I would recommend this hotel for location,  cleanliness,  cost and friendly staff.

Room was small but we asked to upgrade and were able to get a larger room at a small cost. Very close to beach, bars and transport. Cafe underneath was very handy and pleasant.

I did not know that you had to check in at another address 100 meters away. Not a big deal, but with many bags, it was cumbersome, especially needing to go across tram lines.  Would be nice to have water bottles replenished each day.

Room was clean, staff were friendly, great location in terms of travel (but can be noisy, not the fault of the hotel at all!) Bathroom was compact but fully functional. Check in out of hours is across the road from São Fran but absolutely no issues with checking in. TV, Aircon, cleaned daily. Direct Metro into Porto (Trindade) and short walk from the beach.

A compact but very clean room, great location.

A lovely small newly renovatet guesthouse. Very clean. Our room, three bed, was very small, but worked well for the three of us. We only slept there. Telephone number on Hotels.com and other facts as opening hours were wrong, but after some detective work we found both the correct number and beter opening opening hours. An email address and the correct number would help. Close to the Metro, beach, shops and restaurants. Very easy to go to Porto with the Metro. We would stay here again.
