So, I am not a big hostel person. They're budget friendly but usually pretty awful. I have to say Lost Inn Lisbon showed me how good a hostel can be. Pros: Friendly staff available 24/7 Walking tours every day Pub crawl every night (if that's your thing) Free soup on Sunday (homemade caldo verde!) Good cheap breakfast every day Very cool lounge space upstairs Convivial eating area Excellent location Clean Rooms were laid out in such a way that you didn't feel like you were piled in with a bunch of strangers Air conditioned sleeping quarters Luggage room for early arrival or late departure Cons: no elevator. That's it. The only thing I can ding them for. But it's Portugal and there's no getting away from climbing, either hills or stairs. In short, I would absolutely stay here again
