Casa do Barão is a beautifully decorated boutique guesthouse in a fantastic neighbourhood, surrounded by many great restaurants and sights. It’s easy to reach too – about 30 minutes by taxi from the airport. Our host was extremely friendly and helpful, reserving all our restaurants, which all were excellent. Breakfast was delicious and varied, with homemade cake every day – and cakes available to enjoy throughout the day as well. The interior design and rooms are full of style and character, yet very comfortable. We felt truly welcome and would happily stay here again.
