A lovely experience in the city of Funchal. Advantages (+): - close to the sea/ocean (10-15 min of walking); - a great view from the terrace; - cleaning service; - a pool (free of charge) and a gym (additional charge) is very close; - well equipped: even washing machine, dishwasher, oven, coffee machine, etc. Disadvantages (”-”): - price is ok, but could/should be lower; - supermarkets are not so close, and you have to take a taxi to get home with groceries because the apartment is located on the hill. I would recommend it to the most of the tourists traveling with their families.
