It is not easy to find a convenient accommodation in touristy and hilly Sintra. Especially when we had a car. We made a good decision to stay in Quinta de Scoto for two nights. It is located little outside town, but short drive to the public parking lot near Sintra train station. There is a private parking inside the property. We also like historical houses and gardens, so the place was perfect for us. Our room on the ground floor was quite large with antique furniture and comfy beds. Also bathroom was spacious. Everything was clean. We had a good breakfast in the dining room in the main building also with antique furnishing. The second morning we had to leave early, but we could prepare our meal and coffee in the shared kitchen at the end of the building. The owner was very friendly and gave us helpful information about Sintra sightseeing. The place is quiet and charming. We recommend it!
