We decided a last moment short holiday to Zakopane and we booked the Jac w Domu apartment because of its good reviews from other people especially that the rooms were fresh and modern. Also because of its location which was 5-10 minutes walk from the main village. Indeed the apartment was very modern with nice kitchen and bathroom and with free wi-fi and it was just a few minutes walk from the shopping street. The village it has a very nice aura as it has countless shops and the many visitors give it a beautiful festive spirit. We don’t ski so we didn’t visit any ski equipment shops which were many, instead we bought some leather and wool and handmade wooden souvenirs made from local craft men. The hotel is near a big Carrefour supermarket so we bought snacks and juice for breakfast. For lunch and dinner we used a Italian pasta place (I’m not recalling the name) that is near the hotel (and the supermarket) where food was very nice and staff very friendly! We also dined at another restaurant named Montrada if not mistaken were staff were very professional and food was good. I think it was only little expensive for Poland standards, but we definitely would dine there again as service was excellent.
