Overall the apartments are average. On the positive side they are very well located for Wroclaw's old town and all it's attractions and sights. The apartments are also very secure and a safe place to stay. There was plenty of both room and storage space 

The bed and pillows were quite uncomfortable and the sheet was much too small for the bed, as was the quilt. The shower, although in itself pretty good was really leaky and the bathroom floor got really wet. OK for a night or two but not much longer

We stayed in apartment Szewska IV which is located in the same building as ING Bank - Szewska 72. And here's a confusion, you walk into the building and the security tells you there's no apartment no 4. My thinking that Roman IV will translate to Arabic 4 is wrong here, luckily our apartment is here and it's no 404, on the 4th floor. Right enough with the numbers. 
It does exactly what it says on the tin. It's a good apartment for 2 people. Small kitchen  connected to a living room, then adopted bedroom and a bathroom. 
Kitchen is equipped well for 2 people, couple of mugs, two wine glasses, plates, cutlery, pots - you will not make a gourmet meal with all that but you can make simple meals if you can cook. 
Location is really good, literally next to rynek, it has a lovely view especially of the massive church which is lit in the evening. 
Shops, for food and drinks supplies I chose the market on the ground floor of the shopping centre Feniks next door to the apartment, for soap and toilet paper, Rossman which is located in Kameleon shopping centre not even 5 minutes walk from the apartment. 
Why do I bother talking about shops, well, the flat didn't have enough soap, some watered down liquid in the bottle in the bathroom , and 2 toilet rolls, one per head for 5 days, hmm not enough for me. 
Noise, unless you grew up in the country in the middle of nowhere you will find the noise normal even with the sporadic tram passing by. 
One warning, don't leave the balcony door open for a long period of time. The chap next door, permanent resident I assume, is smoking regularly outside and the smoke comes inside, not my cup of tea. 
TV, I have to say something about it given previous comments about the lack of it and not too many channels, blah blah. There's a TV there and it has some channels, boom, but if you are going to Wroclaw to watch TV then you are a total loser and should really stay at home. 
So overall, I tell you for £40 a night it's a good apartment we thoroughly enjoyed staying there. 



Good apartment for a short visit

I stayed in number 19 Rynek (room 10) this weekend.

A good sized apartment for what I thought was a good price - price isn't everything I learnt.

There's no lift and 82 stairs to apartment 10, the elderly or infirm be beware.

Not adequately equipped for cooking at all. Pans and cutlery only - nothing else. Toilet door was missing, shower leaked, freezer compartment door missing which meant everything froze in the fridge!! Numerous bulbs not working and a mattress so thin I had to take painkillers to sleep on the third night.

Being immediately on the main square it means it's noisy, very noisy in summer. 30+ temperatures meant the windows had to be open or you baked. The noise is unabated until the final revellers leave at 7ish. Then the stalls are put out!

I'm home now and ache from head to foot and will sleep for a week!

Recommended for winter months and those that get so drunk the noise doesn't matter.

I will look elsewhere next time, price isn't everything.

Good size apartment - no sleep and a bad back!!!

I stayed with AS Apartments before and I liked them. But this time it was Fall and Fall in Poland is cold. The central heating in the apartment was not working. I informed the office about the problem several times. I promised to look into this. After over the week the heating was still off. So I took matters into my own hands. I bled one of the radiators - and it worked. My conclusion - they simply ignored my complaints. Too bad. Nice apartments, nice location - but DO NOT STAY THERE IN FALL / WINTER / SPRING.

No heating in the apartment - numerous complaints ignored

Photos they display on the site are great, but have 0% in common with the actual flat you are getting. They do have some nice apartments though. The ones as Szewska and Olawska are awful based on other feedback though (could vary per apartment). When traveling with kids and booking ~1 month in advance, I expect the flat to be live-able as the very minimum. This one was not. Despite the substantial amount of money paid, this one was a wreck. Broken and dirty, with missing light bulbs here and there, electrical appliances not working. Open wall plug right at sofa level when it's it's extended. The crib was brought as per my request, but they did not manage to assemble it and asked me to. Judging by my failure to assemble it, it must have been broken.
When I asked them to change flat, first response was that this the exact flat I booked (different layout, photos, even floor plan was completely different). Then I was accused of not being co-operative enough... Found a new flat in 2 days and moved out.
Would suggest to avoid AS Apart aka Moderion aka Hubertus at all costs. My friend had similar issues with them, I should have listened to her and cancelled my booking prior to coming here. The whole company is a complete rip-off.
