Villa Victoria

We stayed for 10 days in an apartment for 2 consisting of a bedroom and a living room with kitchen and a balcony. Unfortunately, there is neither a door nor even a curtain to close the bedroom off, so you ned to coordinate well.... but the sofa was great, the kitchen well equipped, the bathroom (with en suite toilet) fully functioning, the balcony (facing south) was fantastic, and the owner was nice, although she speaks only Polish. She gave us her daughter's phone number, but on the one occasion when we phoned her (twice during one day) she did not pick up the phone. There are six parking spots on the premises, but parking is tight. The garden offers a covered grill place. Frying fish in the rooms is forbidden, one must use the grill place (which I never did). There is a toyhouse for kids and two sunbeds for everyone. The flowers in the garden are lush, very well tended! One gets new towels once a week, but bed is changed only upon request, or so it seemed to us (no change within 10 days). We can recommend the location: A Lewiathan Supermarket in the same block, a Polo across the street, a few minutes walk to the pedestrain area with banking services and tourist shops and yet a quiet location. (Might have been even better than usual due to streetwork that blocked the entrance to the street a few blocks away). There are bycicles on rent for 25 Ztl, which we did not try, and beach mats, deck chairs, and a microwave can all be borrowed freely. The owner gave me a beautiful present as a farewell gift. The whole house seemed very clean and nice to us. The back door leads to a public fitness space and within 15 min walk, you are on the beach.
