Willa Gronicka

Stayed 6th year now and enjoying our Skiing more and more. Anna is a great host and make you feel part of her family. Noting is too much trouble. The Guest House Accommodation is good, comfortable and very warm. We had a large family room 1 x Double and 2 x Singles which make up the majority of rooms. Bathroom was a good size with a great hot shower great to warm the aching muscles after a hard day on the slopes. Towels are provided. The Willa is located just east of Bialka with easy reach of the Great Ski slopes 5 mins by Car or do as we did and use the free Ski Bus just 5 mins from the Willa which runs every 30 mins all day. Even during the evening for Night Skiing. Easy reach from Krakow Airport via the Bus or via private Taxi. The local Ski Bus also passes by Shops so you can pop in and get some food or something to relax after a hard day skiing. Breakfast was continental buffet style with a different hot dish provided each day (egg and ham / Sausage etc). Evening meals were very wholesome and plenty to eat. Starting with a different soup each day and then a main of a meat like Chicken, Pork cutlets, Placek (Potato cakes and meet stew) FANTASTIC. We took some friends this time and they enjoyed it so much we have booked for next year again also. There were some families that we recognised from our past visits and turns out they have been returning also now on their 8th Year. Our only disappointment was that there was no fresh snow to Ski on but all runs have snow cannons and there was plenty of snow each morning and evening to still enjoy. Just wish the Feb School Holidays could be 2 weeks long. Until next year.
