16 reviewsJao Bay Resort was a perfect place to escape from the hectic schedules of everyday life; it is so relaxing and peaceful that you'll surely lose track of time; and for sure you won't want to leave! The food is absolutely incredible; I long for Windy's amazing dishes; each one prepared with her own unique tweak to perfection; even making something as simple as oatmeal an amazing adventure in taste and texture! The free use of the banca paddle boats is so much fun, and such great exercise to burn off any extra calories that you'll surely get from devouring all of Windy's delicious cooking. I loved paddling to the small island across the straight; it has a great beach for swimming; and also exploring the river located behind the resort. Windy has such a great feel for attention to detail, which really shines through with the way she has designed, and decorated the entire resort; from building location to room design, and all of the accessories used throughout, she has created an absolute gem of a resort. Last, but not least; Windy and her entire staff are amazing; it truly was my honor to spend time with all of them, and I can't wait to get back in 2020!
