Villa Consorcia Resort

We did not stay in this place, but we did try its foods and visit the pool area. There were many people in the swimming pool. The place looks good, with lush gardens and vegetation. Good for relaxing with family and friends. However, for me the real highlight of this resort is its foods. We tried some chilly crabs, buttered shrimps, bangus sisig (among other things) and they were simply lovely, finger-licking, I should say. Now I understand why Roxas City is considered as the seafoods capital of the Philippines. They initially set our tables in the pool area. We were there for dinner. The place would have been idyllic and romantic, but there were so many insects flying around attracted by the lights. Some of them even rested on our plates, so we decided to have everything transferred to the resort's Wilson Bar (which is actually used for karaoke) and enjoyed our sumptuous foods there away from the crowds in the pool area and from the annoying insects. Service was really good and all the staff members were friendly. Thumbs up!
