Splendido Hotel

Its a big property and I love the security as it makes me feel safe where ever I go

I love the strict security around the area, I feel very safe where ever I go.

In general sense the property was in excellent condition, the staff was courteous every time you meet them, but the WiFi had a weak signal on my two nights stay.

The pillow needs to be change. It’s hard to sleep.

My stay was relaxing. The surroundings were quiet. I had a great night’s sleep.

The hotel is really nice, with the view of golf club.  The breakfast that they serve is really good  and delicious.  The staff were so nice specially the server in the  dining area.  The front desk was also pleasant.  The only thing in this hotel they do not have face towel becausevwhen I called the front desk and asked for face towel the housekeeping brought us the complete set of towels without wash cloth or face towel.  I hope someday they will provide it but otherwise I will still recommend and will go back to this place when we will be in Tagaytay.

Everything is great except for some chipped laminated wood in the side table and uneven paint on the wall. Also, the location is good especially if you’ll be attending a wedding in the chapel on the hill area. :)

Parking, lobby, and room quite good, and looks as good as pics. Far from city centre, and car is a must.Just a safety measure, they should install a grab bar for the tub. Water temperature for tub is disappointing, as it only reaches warm shower levels. Location of aircon is also inappropriate, resulting in cold to be opposite the bed area. It's also true that hallway noise is loud while inside the room, likely due to tiles instead of carpet.Not so many were booked during our stay, so quite peaceful.

Wifi connection is poor. Very few  food choices at the beach club restaurant (bring your baon) No other restaurant near the hotel. Besides, the hotel is far from the road. Better to bring car than to commute. Amenities and facilities are good. If you are looking for a relaxing place to rest and to have a peace of mind, away from the city crowd, try this hotel. Nice view of taal volcano.

This is our second time staying there. My kids enjoyed both times. We love how there are lots to do in the clubhouse. We had fun playing bowling. The room was spacious enough for the 4 of us. It is also cheaper than other places. The only cons for me are: free breakfast wasn't that good, and they charge you for extra towels (only 2 are provided) and extra pillows

The staff were friendly. The location is perfect, overlooking mountains and the Taal Lake. One needs a car to go around as the place is several hundred meters walk to the main road. Free parking was provided. The room initially assigned to me looked nice but had an odd smell and was surprised to see tiny insects on my bed and headboard. Good thing Jessen of housekeeping was quick to offer a transfer. The free plated breakfast was okay. The view was great from the dining hall but hope they organized the place a bit.

Overnight at Splendido

It was an excellent comfortable stay in Splendido. We were upgraded to lake view room. The breakfast was so so okay, nevertheless there are several restaurants nearby to choose from. I had breakfast before at the Splendido golf clubhouse and it was good, might be a good option. Will definitely come back for another staycation.

Near wedding venue. Was asked for additional fee for people staying within capacity of bed numbers. Shower knobs keeps falling. Shower was reataining water in tub very slow drain.
