Banaue Homestay

This homestay is well-located on the main road just north of the center of Banaue.  The bedrooms are simple but adequate.  They are located at the back, overlooking the valley and some rice fields, so are quiet.  The restaurant is excellent for all meals of the day and has a cosy, family atmosphere.  Best of all, Beatriz is an exceptionally helpful and welcoming host who is always on hand to assist with a smile.

We spend 2 nights in Banaue homestay, and it is a really really nice place, the woman who manage the place is adorable, you have an amazing view and the food is also very well prepared. We recommend it !!!

Had such a lovely time here. The owner is lovely and helped bring smiles to my family’s faces over and over again. Her meals were delicious and humor was fantastic. The views are beautiful from the whole back of the homestay. And the journey to all of the terraces from here is short. Loved!

Fantastic experience! I came to Bananue on a whim and was fortunate to get a bus ticket from Manila directly to Banaue. All the good reviews are true. Rooms are basic but for the price, location and hospitality of the owners, it is a great place to stay. I would highly recommend this place.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at the Banaue Homestay. Beatriz Was an outstanding host and staff and very friendly and accommodating. Homestay also has a wonderful view out over the rice fields.

We didn't get a chance to sleep here because of our tight schedule but the host and her staff made us feel at home and as if we have known each other for so long. Beatrice even helped plan our 6-hour tricycle sightseeing tour. It offers modest meals, comfortable bedroom and T&B, a few dining tables, and most of all, a great view of the terraces on its balcony. We were picked up and sent off for our bus trips. The location is senior friendly too. The price is also perfect!

This was an amazing place to stay (I stated 3 days in November). Firstly, Beatriz was a perfect host. Nothing was a problem and everything she did with pride. The welcome, hospitality, food, accommodation was simply the best. The room was spacious, lovely en-suite shower room with toiletries. The food was fabulous and home cooked. I tried a different breakfast every day and different evening meals. My favourite was the Tinola (I love ginger), but the Sinigang was a close 2nd. Jeffery my tour guide for 3 days was simply the best, knowledgeable on his surroundings and spoke great English. Banaue homestay was immense and made my trip to the Philippines. Thanks Beatriz and Jeffery for the welcome. Highly recommended.

If you are going to stay in Banaue, I will highly recommend this place. It is very cozy and with a beautiful view to the rice terraces in Banaue. The host is very nice and make you feel at home. She can help you arranging hiking tours in the terraces. We had already booked a tour, but even though it was not through our host, she was very helpful making sure that everything went smooth and that we got the correct price.
The food is local and lovely and the rooms are clean.

We stayed here in 2015 and loved it. The views are amazing. The staff are really nice. The service is great. And the food is incredible. Definitely recommend. We had a driver soughted for day trips who was very friendly and happy to wait for us, sometimes for a very long time.

What a great place to stay in Banaue. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. There are only 5 rooms and some have a beautiful view of Rice terraces of Banaue. The balcony is a perfect place to have your morning coffee. The food from the home cooked meals in their kitchen is delicious. The best part of Banaue Homestay is the staff. All the staff are very friendly and delightful. A nice surprise was after returning from trekking all day the staff was there to greet us and had our names on the Welcome Home sign. Wonderful people and a cozy home

The staff are lovely.  Food was good and great price.
However, this place was booked by our driver / guide and didn't really meet our needs.  We are done with shared bathrooms, especially travelling with kids, and double beds are a last resort for two adults (and sharing with kids who kick in the night sucks too!).

The people here are as friendly as you’ll find anywhere in the world. Don’t even try and go to the bus early because they won’t let you. They’ll ring the terminal, let you know when it arrives, and organize a tricycle for free because that’s what they do.
The rooms are big and basic, the food is good quality, location is perfect but the view from the balcony is amazing

2 day stop over

Great hostel! We arrived early in the morning from Manilla, at 7am, and could check in immediately. We had a delicious breakfast and they helped us out for out activities. They recommanded to do both Batad and Banaue Rice Terraces. We started with Batad. They got us a driver, and we went to Batad Where we did a hiking without guide, through the Rice fields and Waterfalls. The driver was waiting for us when we finished. He stoppen along the way to take pictures of the scenery. In the evening we had Some beers in the hostel and dinner. Delicious! 

Second day we went to the rice fields of banaue and visited some hot springs! Also organized by the hostel and pretty good price. Food is also really good.
