Pros:
1. Affordabl.
2. People at the reception are very accommodating and courteous.
3. The hotel and the room is of Japanese design.
4. The room is very spacious! The room had 7 outlets for charging port, no need to worry where to charge those ipads and phones there are lots and lots of outlet! 
5. The bathroom is clean and with hot water plus toiletries. 
6. Had a good night sleep!
7. Rooms are with table, chairs, cabinet, free water and more. 
8. Just outside the hotel you have bars and resto. No need to go far for a meal or a night life.
9. View of Taal at the entrance/outside of the hotel is breathtaking you will have the veranda/terrace in the morning for your alone.
10. Summit Ridge and Starbucks is just across the street.  

Cons:
1. Locating the hotel is not easy. It is located at the back of a resto, we ask the staff at the resto just to locate the entrance of the hotel.
2. The rooms dont have balcony or terraces.

Good Location and Affordable

service and the staff were pretty good. keep in mind this place is japanese-inspired. the rooms are not expansive like most of us westerners expect, but the design and layout of the rooms are beautiful. seeing that this is in the Philippines were the bathrooms issue has always been a concern for us balikbayans (a Filipino visiting or returning to the Philippines after a period of living in another country), their bathrooms are acceptable- having separate showers from the toilet area...and thankful for the warm water in the shower! the nights here could be construed depending on your age and type of people you're traveling with. the hotel is in the midst of restaurants, bars and a busy street...so it's quite loud out there (you don't hear the loudness inside of your rooms tho). i did find a dead roach on our room floor (eek). they do provide free breakfast, and who doesn't like that. i'll go back again.

convenient and accomodating

The hotel is hard to locate. Small road sign amidst that of restos and bars, its easy to miss. Price is ok given the fact that it has 2 queen-sized beds and 2 single beds. Room is spacious. It has a second floor, where the 2 singles are found. However, air conditioning doesn't reach that area. Breakfast is great, big servings esp.the omelette. 
The BIG problem: ROACHES. I actually killed 4 in a span of less than 24 hours. Yes, I actually counted them. 

This hotel has issues

The hotel is nearby must see spots and restaurants in tagaytay and provided all the basic necessities for a comfortable stay. Honestly I'd rather stay at nearby hotels of the same price but with a view. This hotel lacks a balcony or a window unfortunately. Expect little to no mobile phone signal too.

Below average considering the price

The room is too expensive and it looks like a hostel. The bedsheets have holes and there are flies. The location is hard to find. i recommend that you stay at the hotels along the road which are way better than Hotel Nao plus a little cheaper too. The surrounding is very noisy too as there is a restaurant that is under construction. i dont recommend this hotel at all.
