Palanggas Place

Me and my son arrived galera on dec 24 for our xmas holidays. Knowing that the typhoon is coming ... We stayed in talipanan that time. But dec 25 the typhoon came and ruined the place.. Hmmp... We got stranded and we stayed for another 2/days. I decided we get a room in white beach as it was near to the atm and western union. And just in case it wud be easy to get boat ticket for our trip going back to manila... Im.lucky i found this place in agoda.. (800+pesos) On the spot i booked and we come over to the place... That time we saw the entire white beach .. Gosh the typhoon really hitted the place so bad. We saw lots of tress that fall down.lots of roof in the seashore, lots.of garbage..the beach water is color brown. The room we got ..unfortunately is like a little bit flooded lol . Water inside the room ( u cant imagine what we did the owner and i clean the room ) even asking apologies. . but its not her fault. Theres typhoon and the room is really just in the beag front so what do we expect. . we cleaned the room and changed bedcover and pillow case. We dried the floor. Lol it was such an experience. But we are thankful. That time most of the resorts are fully booked coz lots were stranded.. After cleaning. .the room is now good and we are ready to rest .. In all fairness the room in the attic offers a great view esp in the morning .. I recommend this place. Esp thw room.we got small electricfan room but its nice location. And budget friendly in a beach front location ;-) PS.. The pics of the beach was the time the typhoon just ended. So its really not presentable.. I hve another beach pic in my othwr review...but thats the day bfore the typhoon arrive...lol
