It’s like nothing else. We visited the island for 30 mins only as part of the early morning dolphin watching and snorkelling boat trip at Balicasag. I was wowed as I’ve never seen anything like it, an island made up entirely of beautiful sand. Walking in the shallow warm water is lovely but make sure you take water shoes as there are lots of sea urchins. There are some locals who’ve set up stalls on the island but other than that and the many starfish you’ll see, there’s not much else there and it’s bliss!
