Clifftower Apartelle Backpackers

Cliff tower hostel has the sweetest receptionist I have met during my travel. The staff made us feel very welcome. I would give the hospitality a ten! The place is very central and the room was very clean. I would recommend staying here!

Hospitality above and beyond!

Clifftower has more then one building, and I was in the one outside of the reception. I think that one is a bit better. the shower/bathroom area could need some improvement. the sleep was ok. the staff was not existing there, also hard to find at the other place. wifi is not working.

budget and average

Not a nice place. There was no one at the reception when I arrived, room was good (four person airco), but bathroom worst I've seen: super basic, not very clean, not nice... Very overprized, I think. Internet worked okay.

Not a nice place (very bad sanitary), but okay sleep

I was not notified that they had given our reservation away until I arrived to the hotel. Already put down a deposit and earned the room 2 months ahead... they did not honor my reservation.  The service eased terrible.  In fact,  there were no more rooms available to even accommodate my family at the hotel.  I was forced to move to a completely different hotel,  with inflated prices.  The whole experience eased horrible and extremely hard on my family at the time. Do not recommend this place for anyone.

Worst hotel experience

Absolutely horrendous service from this hostel, I have stayed in well over 50 hostels all around the world and never experienced such an unorganised and incompetence work force and manager. We arrived at the hostel for checkin and we checked in to our room and unpacked, me and my partner decided to have a nap as we had been traveling all day, the manager later knocked on the door and said there had been a mix up we had to change room. We said ok fair enough these things happen, we repacked our bags and moved to a new dorm. Around 30 mins later another member of staff asked us to move room again due to another mix up. Hostel is dirty, not as described and staff not very helpful. Do not stay here
