Hotel La Corona Manila

This is one of those hotels that simply does what it is meant to do with no real fuss and drama. I can only speak positively in regards all aspects of the hotel and enjoyed my stay here. I stayed here for three nights in January 2020 and was very impressed with the hotel. Firstly the location is excellent. You are so close to a wonderful local park that I jogged in most evenings and there is the odd entertainment there too. I witnessed a great light and water show one evening. The real draw however is that you are right next to the wonderful old walled city Intramuros. This is the key attraction for Manila and being so close to it is fabulous. I could walk around all day and never need to use public transport. There are also numerous shops, malls and restaurants close by to meet such demands. And you are a short walk to the water and all sights along the main drive. The advice and service on the front desk was excellent and the staff answered all my questions diligently with insight and good guidance. The chaps on the front door were polite and friendly and were always there to help with grabbing a cab or luggage. My room was a good size, well stocked, very clean and all gadgets, machines and plumbing did was it was meant to without any issues. The breakfasts were great, filling and again there is little to critique here. All round this was a pleasant stay and I can’t think of what to report as negative. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone.
