We stayed here for one night in Donsol for 600 php.

We arrived in the off season with the place  extremely quite but yet the owner didn't know who we were and wanted us to prove our booking.

The room itself is spacious and big however, the bathroom sink leaked and the  shower had no curtain. The walls are suffering from a bit of damp and the place just need a bit of loving. 

Inside and outside the room we had hundreds of ants requiring us to clean and bug spray much of our room and getting the owner to spray the red ants off the porch area and getting bit in the process. This only stemmed them until the morning when our bags and room were covered in them this extremely unpleasant.

The place would be better without the ants for a night or two.

Cheap, but Ants. Lots of Ants

The owner and his family are friendly and helpful. For 50 peso you can use the kitchen. The room were we stayed was basic and clean. Cold shower (for us was it fine) free wifi. It's 3.5 km walk to town but you can also take a tricycle. During the night you can see fireflies on the side of the street  

Family run 

The rooms are mostly clean but a little pricy. The family that runs it is friendly and helpfull. For tours nearby organised from villa Jolee they will ask above Market prices. They are right at the beach so iTS great if you'd like to make an early morning dive. 

When travelling off season i strongly recommend to skip Donsol. Everything closes around here. Restaurants, agencies and even guesthouses. 

Went there cuz of the price. The owner didn't really speak English and wasn't too helpfull. Wifi didn't work, we got no towels and had to request them. 

Room was ok, not too convenient, AC very loud.

There were dead and alive cockroaches in the bathroom at all times and toilet eas leaking badly. When I spoke to the owner about that he just smiled and said it wasn't a problem.

I'm sure that I'll pay a few $ more the next time, you shouldn't stay at rhat place when there's so many trully beautiful places along the beach or in the town (from where you just get a trycycle for P50 to get you to diving and whale shark stuff).

BEWARE... Overpriced, cockroaches, leaking toilet, helpless owner

We saw a really cheap price for this place on agoda (500 pesos) ,  we walk in and we didn't obtain the same price,  800 pesos the room,  the owner accept to decrease the price to 700 pesos but didn't for the first night.  He promised internet,  and after many asking we obtain 10 min connexion! For the 3 days we staid. 
We never get hot shower,  but he just smiled about it and said it works in the other rooms,  but didn't propose a new one for us.  It was a big surprise to see that he still didn't apply the agoda price at the end.  As we complain,  he offered the 3 coffees we drinked, such effort!  The room is big,  but there isn't any place for your stuff,  and drying area when we are in a diving place!  No garden,  no common place,  you don't want to spend time in the pension. There is a nice cafe -eatering place between the dives center where you can enjoy to have a drink and seat with a table.
