Palm Residence Inn

We went to Davao City for a convention. This hostel is a 2 minute walk from Gmall, just across San Pedro College. Pros: affordable, spacious room (suite room can fit up to 5 pax), accessibility, water refilling and coffee vendo available at the lobby, with wifi Cons: doesn't allow early check-in (strictly follows 3pm check in time) but you can drop your luggage at the reception, shower heater doesn't work properly, tv signal reception very poor, Over all, you get what you pay for, and a little more than that. I would recommend it, for its price, its worth it.
