Thresher Cove Dive Resort

My friend and I stayed at another hostel/dive resort before coming here and I'm so glad we switched to Threshers. Dive facility As a Divemaster, I know the good from the bad dive centres. This is one of the best - the staff are brilliant and professional, (shoutout to Rodz!), the equipment is top notch as are the boats and boat crew. You can dive at literally any time of day, every day there's an early trip to the thresher sharks, a night dive and either a day trip or a late morning and afternoon dive. It's literally a diver's paradise. Bar/restaurant Hands down the most varied menu/menus on the island. There are 3 menus that are available - I never found out why there are 3 menus available but I was thrilled there were. The food was yummy and filling and after a morning double dive there was nothing better than an omelette! Other highlights: banana split, mango split, banana and nutella crepes! Accommodation & grounds The pool. Oh the pool is LOVELY. Nothing more refreshing than a post-dive swim. The private beach. Dayum. My favourite memory is sitting on that beach, G&T in hand, watching the moon rise over the sea. The sky was purple, the mountains blue, the moon full... it was incredible. My friend and I stayed in the Lookout Hilltop private accommodation. What can I say? We splurged. It was so worth it. A balcony with unbelievable views. Lovely room. Complimentary waters. Working TV with loads of channels. No complaints at all. It was lovely. Overall, it was incredible. We meant to go to Bounty Beach for dinner one evening, but we were shattered from all the incredible diving OR getting up early to dive! It wouldn't have been far to go if we had wanted to, but in our 9 nights there, we didn't feel we had to leave. We were totally catered for and the overall cost of diving and eating and accommodation were AMAZING. Thank you so much xx
