Tancor 1 Residential Suites

I live in Cebu for several months every year. Over the past few years, I've stayed at Tancor 3 and Tancor 5. The buildings are kept spotless clean and the staff has always been nice. For the most part, everything functions properly, and when I've had an issue with any of the appliances, they got on the problem right away. At Tancor 5 there is a pool at the top of the building that I like better than the pool at the bottom of Tancor 3, but Tancor 3 also has a sauna - which I wish Tancor 5 had. I've seen some negative reviews about Tancor. Having lived in the Philippines off and on over the last 15 years, if you don't appreciate living in Tancor, you probably don't belong in a condo Cebu. Don't expect to find a paradise version of the first world country where you came from when you get to Cebu. Cebu has it's own culture and better to appreciate it the way it is. If you don't want to assimilate into the local culture, you could always stay at Shangr-la or the Waterfront.
