Did not know what to expect, as the location was near the market.But as it turns out, this is a plus for me, because I was able to buy cheap fruits like the famous Camiguin lanzones, pineapple, durian, etc.within a few walking distance. Staff were absolutely nice, from the security guard to the janitor to the friendly and accommodating front desk staff. Room that I had, was very spacious, cold A/C, large bathroom with hot shower. Like what other reviewers mentioned, it can't be compared to the higher ranking hotels, but for the budget conscious traveller that just needed a place to stay and sleep...this is the place to book. Right now, they are offering P100 coupon to spend at a restaurant beside the hotel. What more can one ask for? Heard that some regular clients would try a room across the street, but most of them would come back because of the more spacious rooms Goodnews offers. By the way, the white river water rafting will pick you up and drop you off at their place too. So convenient. You will not regret staying at this place , for the money.
