The location was amazing just 2 minutes into beautiful Diniwid beach, quieter and more relaxing than White Beach. 

Shelley and Jesop really looked after me since I was travelling alone, they were so hospitable it felt like I was staying with friends. Yes, the hotel needs updating but what you are paying to stay here and the service you recieve out weighs this, I would certainly stay here again if I return again, and would surely recommend Mica to anyone looking to stay on a budget. The rooms were big, and clean and you cannot beat the location I had a really great stay.

After a terrible experience at another hotel I found this lovely place. Although I was a walk in, the staff did their absolute best to accommodate me and this improved the longer I stayed. My room was only 30 metres from Diniwid Beach and was clean and simple for a fair price. Would happily recommend this place

Amazing Stay

Great location, friendly staff and fair prices

We went to the south part of the beach and rented some lounges up in the palm tree line it was perfect.   Nice breeze, gorgeous view and shaded by the swaying palm trees.  We used the area that was "managed" by "Mikas Place Beach Resort".  The staff told us it was 500p consumable for each lounge chair.  This means as long as you spend 500p for each chair you are good. Well after we ordered our first round of drinks we found out that was not true. We got hit with an actual fee for the lounge chairs in addition to our purchases.  Ok no problem we chalked it up to a misunderstanding.  

This understanding changed when one of the boys failed to come back with a considerable amount of change for almost a half hour so the missus had to go straighten them out in their own language.  Another ten minutes and the missing boy finally showed up with our change.  Unfortunately the mood was ruined at this point and we no longer had any desire to stay in this area.

Whomever runs Mikas, please get these workers to a better professional level please.

A great beach visit ruined by poorly educated staff

People running Mika's Place are lovely , helpful and sweet but the cleanliness of the room given to us questionable .
Beautiful, excluded beach with crystal clear water and few rock. Great to relax but since arrival we haven't been offered anything to drink or eat. 
Luckily there is amazing restaurant next door.
Such a shame about the room, would've been amazing gateway place . I'm sure they have cleaner rooms but put off by this experience I won't be coming back.
