Our room (clean and comfy beds) was upstairs and had a small window which was fine.  My friends was downstairs, no window except onto a noisy gym playing music 24/7 and actual eyeline into her bathroom!  She moved into the spare bed in our room.  Shower warm at best depending on time. The tea/coffee table which most hotels supply was only ever furnished with tiny espresso cups and little hot water. Luggage storage area was not totally secure. 20 min walk up hill to centre. Otherwise fine.

Budget hotel with big difference in room location

The Pardo hotel is a basic hotel, which is 20 mins walk away from the centre of Cusco. The room windows face into the courtyard, which means you can hear everything. Some of the other guests were extremely inconsiderate and started shouting from 5am until 8am. It woke everyone in my group up (except for the lucky one with earplugs).

The breakfast spread was very enjoyable, with a range of fruit, pancakes and cereals.

Basic hotel but great breakfast

Very nice people.  Small, basic but clean rooms.  Some will not have windows or will have windows that open to the hallways.  Good location to walk to resturants and the market.  About 6 blocks to the main plaza. 

I thought the hotel was pretty good.  The beds and pillows were comfortable, the room and bathroom were clean and the included breakfast was delicious-eggs, avocado, fresh fruit, yogurt and cereal and well as fries with sausage.  It is within walking distance of the main squares, churches and museums.  I like to walk though and walked all over the old part of the city from here. If your looking for the main square to be right out your door you should book else where.  I also never had any problems with the wifi, using it from my room every night (including right now to write this review).  The showers were hot(ish) depending on when you took them.  I shower at night and never had to have a cold shower.  I do prefer water that’s so hot it burns a little which I didn’t get here, but I wasn’t expecting to! The one big, no huge, negative here would be the noise!  Bring ear plugs, no part of this building seems to have any sound proofing and you can hear everything inside the hotel and out on the street!  Thankfully I was so tired from touring around all day it didn’t prevent me from sleeping.  If you’re looking for the Hilton this isn’t it but if you want somewhere clean to rest your head after a long day of touring the city and surrounding area this hotel is as good enough.

Hotel in Cusco

Like others I stayed here for two nights at the start of a G Adventures trip and a further night at the end.

The room was basic and faced onto the internal corridor - a large window with thin curtains let a lot of light in, even when trying to sleep at night.

Hot water / water pressure was variable - first night I had a hot shower, second a cold shower, last night was lukewarm.

Wifi only worked reliably in the lobby.

Location is a little far from the Plaza de Armas but still within walking distance and there are a few restaurant options close by.

The hotel stored our luggage for us while on tour and upon our return had placed our bags in our new rooms.

Included breakfast was as expected for a South America.

Overall the hotel was suitable for its purpose but if staying longer in Cusco would recommend looking elsewhere.

So-so

We stayed in this hotel before and after a hike and it really is not ideal.  There appears to be an all night gym next door which plays very loud music and has people dropping weights at all hours.  The road at the front is also noisy and the windows let in a lot of that noise.  Finally due to the trips that go from the hotel, there will be noise at 4am and 7am as trips depart.
The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is adequate (although some of our friends struggled to get water out of the tap).  
The breakfast is ok if you are there early but otherwise items run out and it isn't impressive. Although the room and location for breakfast is the best thing about the hotel.
The staff are not overly flexible and not overly helpful but I think this is more due to the fact that the hotel is seriously understaffed. 
While ok, on a return from a hike when you are exhausted and can sleep anywhere I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Budget hotel in Cusco - noisy and not ideal

I stayed here at the start of a G Adventures trip and it’s by far one of the noisiest places I’ve ever stayed to the point of being kept awake all night. Other guests are inconsiderate but it’s more the layout of the hotel whereby sound echoes everywhere. Bring ear plugs if you choose to stay!! The pillows are also akin to sleeping on hard balls of cotton wool - they are completely separated inside. The staff are however really lovely and helpful! 

Noisey and uncomfortable 

Elevator didn't work, almost no water pressure, little hot water, towel rack taped to bathroom wall, electrical outlets in rooms are so worn they won't hold a plug, TV ancient, remote didn't work, no battery in room safe so it didn't work, pillow hard as a rock, WiFi limited to lobby.  Obviously no money has been applied to maintenance or upgrading.  The only good thing I can say is that staff were pleasant.
