Hotel Residencial Pedasi

We wanted to stay in a Panamanian owned hotel and this hotel and staff were a great choice.  The rooms were clean and air conditioned.  The staff and owners were wonderful.  Each morning we were served a typical eggs and toast breakfast with our favorite cafe con leche!  The hotel was right at the edge of the town and we easily walked to town several times a day and night.

Hotel Residencial Pedasi is not expensive, it is near everything and the food fromthe chef in their restaurant is awesome. Even if you are staying at another hotel try dinning there you will not regret it!

This nice B and B is a wonderful place to stay if you are visiting Pedasi. The rooms are very clean, have air conditioning, wifi, private baths and the price includes breakfast.
There is a restaurant attached to the hotel called "Mare Bonita' that is EXCELLENT!! The chef is a fantastic chef who came from Panama City and he has worked in the the best restaurants in the city.
It's centrally located within minutes of the beach and within walking distance to the wonderful town of Pedasi with it's many restaurants and boutique hotels and stores.

It's not a 'high class' hotel but it's affordable, and clean and I would recommend it to anyone without reservation.

The Nuevo Residencial Pedasi is located on the Main Street at the entrance to town, so it is walking distance from everything , and it's quiet. Once you shut the door to your room and turn on the air con , the noise and blasting music of Pedasi locales is gone. The rooms are basic ,but have firm mattresses, en suite bathroom, and powerful air con--Just what you need in this noisy town, where partying seems to go on every night of the week. The hosts are friendly and bilingual; the staff is welcoming. I stayed for 2 nights and had excellent deep sleep each time, and a delicious coffee with my continental breakfast.

Excellent place to spend the night!

We arrived in this hotel and the owner (a lady) offered a room whose door did not lock. She called her son to solve the problem. He opened the door and gave the key for us. But before his leaving, we asked him to close the door, and now he was not lucky. He understood the case and took a key from another room. This one was much easier to open/close. We thought the room was okay, but after dinner we checked the toillet and the shower which were not working appropriately. I walked to the reception and talked to the man. I explained that the shower didn't have hot water. He showed me another room. I was going to test the shower and he was not sure if I would find hot water. I started testing and the hot water didn't come. Then, he asked me to stop waisting water because the hot water would not come as they were having a gas problem for some days (why did he not say this to me before?). He asked me why I need hot water? I said that I could manage this, but what about the toillet issue? I told him that I would talk with my wife in the room and give him a response because it was 9:20pm. I went back and discussed with my wife and decided to search availability in a different hotel. That moment, the man came with money and said that that was what he could do. I explained that we did not decide what we were going to do so far. We asked him if he had another solution, but he said NO. 
As we found a room available in a hotel aside, we decided to leave. Both, the man and his mom did not present a good behavior in dealing with the issue.
