Stayed for one night while on a conference in town.
I was given a spacious room. It was nice and clean and I had a pleasant stay.
And it’s right next to the railway station which makes it very central.
I met friendly staff at the reception and at the bar - thanks for that.
Great place to stay while in Kongsberg.

Great place, Central location

Stayed for three nights. First evening I tried every trick to lock the door, but couldn’t. I let the blond haired receptionist who was newly hired know. She told me the tricks I already tried, and didn’t seem to believe me. I went up to try them again, but nothing worked. Since I had made plans and was running late, we agreed that she was going to make sure the door got locked right away.
So when I came back to the hotel hours later i checked the door, but it was NOT locked. Luckily nothing was missing, but I was not happy. And I felt like the receptionist actually hadn’t believed me, and must have been thinking that I didn’t know that the doors normally lock themselves after a given time. 
The next day a different receptionist called technical help asap and the door was normal for a few days until it stopped working again the last night. When checking out we got an apology. Thank you I guess.

We stayed at the third floor facing the street. I had no trouble sleeping, but some might have bees disturbed by the trolley, music or people singing in the street. The room was beautiful, and the breakfast was nice
