My father and I booked in via. Booking.com. We arrive for our two night stay after a long drive. We arrived 20 minutes before check out ended at 4pm. We got in the building from another tenant and tried calling the front desk multiple times before finally getting in which he could hear from where he was standing. The front office was dark and the clock said 4:15pm, which was 20 minutes ahead of time. They left us totally abandoned and left us hating the city and its people! If someone was there during the check in hours like they are supposed to be we wouldnt have had to "cancel" and spend the next 3 hours finding somewhere else to stay. The company lied and said they sent us the code to get into the building and when we caught them in a lie they said "oh you were to call us a week before coming to get a code". We booked four months ago and the email confirmed the booking. We gave them money. They said call one week before. But nothing about getting a code to get in or it being urgent or that we would be abandoned in a unknown land to a language we dont fully know. Their customer service is absolute garbage. And booking.com is no better. We paid and it was there responsibility to ensure they were there until the end of check out time. This is not typical etiquette for the customer to call after the stay has been confirmed. I would not recommend at all. They still charged us for THEIR mistake.

Horrible service. Not there during check in hours

The location of the hotel is excellent. Good connectivity with airport and very near to central railway station. However the hotel has no lift and I would recommend people with heavy luggage and difficulty in walking should avoid this hotel. Being heritage property the floor heights are double the normal floor heights.
The hotel has a common kitchen with all the basic items. 
Location is excellent but otherwise an average hotel.

Heritage Hotel

Located in the center, 200mt from the bust stop of Flybussen (the airport connection). Really cheap about 40€ /person per night. It's clean and essential (no lift, no new towels everyday, no hair dryer), anyway excellent value per price compared to competitor.

Over the expectations

I started with the good part; the location is unbeatable, next to the Byparken, and it is. There is no elevator, up 3 suitcases on the fifth floor was precious. They are rooms with a common area (kitchen) in a kind of receptacle. The kitchen is ventilated, there are no utensils, the microwave has remains of the last supper of Jesus Christ. The room is very simple but with an abandoned appearance. The bathroom is a work of art, you can cram and ducharte at the same time, so that when bad things are not available there is no option. There are some extractors in the room and bathroom that are running continuously and cannot be ap (indispensable tapestries). Enter quite (antifaz).

Careful and noisy.

Sheets dirty, WC broken, hairs on the bed and you can’t contact to someone else if you have any accident inside the room. The price of the room is incompatible with the aspect os the apartment. The location is good.

Terrible!!!

I chose this hotel as it is quite convenient and easy walking distance to the "Hurtigruten" berth.The reception desk (so to speak) is not manned all the time and at night arrivals must report to the "BAR" in the corner rock venue.  After registering one is gven the password for the entrance door. There is no lift and the Rooms are up many flights of stairs,difficult if your luggage is heavy. The rooms are very basic and I only needed a room for one night. No food available, but there is an excelent 7 Eleven opposite and a Kebab/Hamburger place behind the 7 Eleven. There is a common room with a refrigerator, table, chairs and crockery available to use.  It is Backpacker standard. The hotel is suitably located for walking extensively through most of the town.

Very Basic

Located just above a bar. Also when the reception is closed, it is the bar that you should go to. 5th floor without elevator. Very strict room. No curtain covering. No shower curtain between the shower and the rest of the (minor) bathroom. So flooding of the entire sdb with each use of the shower. WC literally in front of the sink. Their twin beds are narrow and uncomfortable. There is a common kitchen on the 5th floor where ventilation is apparently nonexistent since every time a kitchen, the odors inevitably come to your room either through the window or the back.

Avoid it by any means necessary.

Perfect location.Cheap for Norway and Bergen.On top of the rock bar Garage which suited me fine since there was a pre party before the gig I was attending.
Small rooms and very basic but its got everything you need.

Concert in and out

This hotel is poor. It's a small room with an uncomfortable bed. Bad bathroom, shower is on top of the private one. The reception only works from 10 to 15 hours, which means there's never anyone available to even order toilet paper. The entrance is made at night by a bar. When we get there, there was garbage in the bathroom, which makes us wonder if someone really cleaned the room. The location is good. But I don't recommend it.

Only the location saves

Plus. I just liked the location and the price. The downsides. It's a very strange key from the room and it's from the main entrance to the hotel - I understand that it's also suitable for the other rooms. On the floor there's a cafeteria everywhere. The bathroom is uncomfortable, there's not even a towel to hang. When you wash, the floor is very slippery, and the toilet is all wet and you have to wipe it to sit on it. The sink barely drains, you have to forgive. There's no curtain on the big window, and on the small one - it's not very comfortable in the dark of the night.
