This hotel is close to the Center, in a very quiet street with a view of the Mombacho Volcano.The Manager speaks very good English and to able to advise us on the places to see, always fussing really very nice! the room are large and comfortable, the beds too, own bathroom and wifi works very well.the terrace with the balcony upstairs with the view on the volcano is superb.In addition it is the cheapest in the city, I really suggest!

Really good place, really good stay

My friends and I decided to spend a night in Granada, we found this hostel and chose it because according to the comments it was relatively new, the truth is that the beds follow their packaging and very well, the clothes of the same looked neat and in perfect condition, we took a room for 4 with shared bathroom and had a good time, it has air conditioning, a games room and above all very attentive staff, the owner is a friendly and collaborative person.

Very kind and helpful

We stayed a week here and really enjoyed our stay, getting to meet the other guests and enjoying Jorge's company. The Hostal has large common areas where people can chill out in rocking chairs if you want. Squeaky clean, and the floors polished to a mirror finish. It is a little away from what people believe is the centre but a flat easy walk, or a $0.50 per person taxi ride to anywhere in this small town. Jorge is a very helpful person with good English and answered all we needed to know about Granada and onward travels. Recommended.

Quite and comfortable

Hostel good for people who want to be in neighborhood setting. Chance to talk more with locals.

Limited services. After staying at other Grenada hostels it is more apparent. This hostel wants you to buy everything from them to help raise more revenue to continue rising up hostel. You can't bring alcohol in from outside, no free water, signs on wall indicating you'll be penalized if you leave fan or a light on, and tours cost more than at other hostels. Just makes you feel like there are a lot of rules, less relaxing.

Walk not bad, we did not feel unsafe at night as neighborhood is safe. But it is set farther apart from main downtown so you do spend more time in transit.

Limited services, far from center

New hostel, is very clean and is in a good location. Not too far a walk away from downtown. The top drawer of the dresser was equipped with a lock so you could keep your valuables in it. They had snacks but no resturant but as stated prior, everything was a quick walk away. Would stay again.

Basic and clean 

Jorge, the most unassuming man ever, turns out to be your hostel manager, party manager, history teacher, chef, life coach, designated driver, you name it. The location is great because you get to see a bit of all walks of life; you're in the residential area where the families are, and only 15 minute walk away you're in the bustling town centre. The hostel has a cozy upstairs balcony with great views, if you get breakfast it's fresh cooked right there in the common kitchen for you to see, there's laundry, and there's available tours to places like the Masaya volcano.  The amenities are decent and very clean for a hostel, and you'll definitely come back for the great staff and service.

Home away from home 

Brand new hostel.  Paid for breakfast which was very good.  Owner speaks english.  Is quite far from town center for going for food and entertainment.  Also, the online price was lower than what we paid.  As it was only one night, the 50% increase was too much of a big deal.  However, it would certainly add up if staying for a few nights.

The room was supposed to be $39. We were charged tax on top of this. The first time I can recall. The hotel is nowhere near anything.
