3 Palms Residence

What a wonderful experience! The hotel is located a couple blocks from the city center, just far enough away to be out of the grasp of peddlers, but close enough to be immersed in the city culture within a five minute walk. The amenities themselves were fabulous! Comfortable beds, kitchenettes in each villa, air conditioning (a luxury in the summer), and a well kept and clean environment. Michael and Sergio sure know how to cook! Each morning we were greeted with fabulous smoothies made from the best fruit in the region (like fresh dragon fruit and pineapple, delicacies in the area) and an assortment of breakfast breads or yogurt. These meals were truly a highlight of my two week stay in the country (I traveled to three other hotels). Not to mention the sincerity and accommodations offered by our hosts. 7 days after leaving 3 Palms, we got into a minor car accident and Michael dropped everything to help ensure we were ok and help us with legal counseling/translation despite us no longer being residence of his hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning to travel to Nicaragua in the near future.
