Sea Gypsy Motel

Spacious family room in a small motel about 3 minutes walk from the main street in one direction and the same to the wharf in the opposite direction. Only 5 minutes to the start of the main town beach, so several restaurants, cafes and takeaways are very easily accessed by foot, also the interesting and varied small museum. The rooms were very clean; beds comfortable; shower with great pressure and heat, and all the cooking facilities that one might require. The owner of the motel was very welcoming and attentive to our needs; she is also a great baker sharing her superb chocolate cake with us! We would definitely recommend this motel and now that we have found it, hope to stay there again on our next visit to Whitianga.
