This historic tavern is well-preserved and well run.My partner & I stayed in-house but had our meals in the bar downstairs and enjoyed the boutique beer/cider.The atmosphere is relaxing & the meals well-presented and very enjoyable. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with any enquiries. The ladies toilet was the only disappointment: it is in dire need of a makeover as it was pretty old, messy & needing some repairs in the walls, etc.
