When I was finished with my check-in and was about to head into my room, the guys working at the front desk asked our plans for the duration of our stay. And as soon as I told him the first spot, they jumped out enthusiastically trying to persuade us that there were much better places and better prices for what we had initially thought to pay. And not just the location as well, but what to do when we're there. They were basically our tour guide for us during our stay and so helpful the whole time, and their names were Ryan and Brian. I was wary at first because of the negative reviews but was proven wrong the instant I entered my room. The rooms when I entered were neatly kept, warm (it was cold and raining when we went so thank goodness), beds were perfect and nothing bad to talk about. What's more to say? Lovely and hospitable owners, great rooms, great price, great location. Definitely staying here again when I come back to New Zealand!!!
