The Farmhouse at Mission Estate

Large lovely house set in beautiful vineyard. Looks just like the pictures as advertised. Great air conditioning / heating available in all rooms, very comfortable. Also well equipped kitchen, and really convenient with laundry and dryer. Just some minor maintenance touchups needed (e.g. lightbulb in living room needs to be fixed) and needs a new kettle. More counter space in bathroom would be nice.

Surprised to find out there are three ensuite (3 washroom + 1 disable washroom) in the house. Originally the website stated only have 2 washroom.  The environment was nice, facing the wine yards. It has a jacuzzi and bbq area which was nice to try.  Overall the house was good for our families. And we tried the fine dining in the restaurant also - service & food was good.  If there are more clothes hangers and hook for clothes - that will be great.

We loved our stay at the Farmhouse, set in the Mission Estate vineyards. We were 3 couples, each had our own bedroom and ensuites. Each bedroom has a heat pump and a TV. The home was beautifully appointed, and we stayed toasty warm with the gas fire in the living area. The staff were very accommodating (pardon the pun!) when we requested the room with 2 auntie beds be made up as one large bed, and they also allowed us to store our ebikes in the hallway at night. The bottle of bubbly was a lovely touch too! Very clean and tidy property, inside and out. We will def be back!!

Great view looking out onto the vineyard at Mission Estate and the hills just behind. 
Lovely property with well appointed rooms and comfy beds.
Warm, with a gas fire and heat pumps in all rooms.
Full kitchen, laundry etc.
Spa pool was great.

Easy access to the centre of Napier by car — 10 minutes. 
Near Anderson's Park with amazing playground for kids.

Bonus:
Staff were all lovely, welcoming and keen to help in any way.
Had kai delivered from the restaurant at Mission Estate — excellent!

The Farmhouse was a nice property located on the Mission Esate Vineyard. We were made to feel very welcome by the Estate crew.The Farmhouse was neat and tidy.I would recommend the Farmhouse for anyone staying in the area.The Mission Estate restaurant and cellar door were excellent

We really enjoyed our stay at the Farmhouse.  A lovely house. We enjoyed the privacy and the spa was an added bonus.

The Farmhouse is a very good accommodation option... if you don't mind being a bit out of central Napier. We had it all to ourselves for two nights and enjoyed its location in the middle of the vineyard, the stylish interior, the spacious living room, the choice between three bedrooms (each with adjoining bathroom), the laundry facilities and - such a nice gesture - the bottle of sparkling wine in the fridge. We did not make use of kitchen, terrace BBQ and hot tub but are sure that a family or a group of friends will have great fun using them. We preferred eating out and had our first night dinner at the Mission Estate Winery Restaurant - convenient as we just had to walk a little bit uphill and so worth a visit (make a reservation well in advance!).
Reception at the winery in the afternoon had been very friendly. As we had to leave early on a Sunday morning we just dropped the key with the kitchen staff - no problem at all.
Oh yes, and nature is all around you - flowers, trees, birds, rabbits, chicken, ducks, a cat...

We stayed here when attending a wedding and it was fabulous! We will be back for sure. Beautiful home and grounds and I loved that each room had its own bathroom, perfect when travelling with couples.

Great stay in beautiful vineyard

Perfect in every way!

Great stay in a great setting

Six of us shared The Farmhouse recently and found it to be an excellent choice. Bedrooms are all at opposite points of the house, giving plenty of privacy. Glassware and crockery a little haphazard and the place is starting to show its age. The best thing would be to get rid of the old barbecue and replace it with a clean new one that works properly. Lovely position among the vines, just needs a freshen up.

We spent only one night on Tuesday 17th of September and absolutely loved it!
We wish we could have stayed a few more days.
The house had everything you could want for a short stay.
Multiple bedrooms and bathrooms and a good kitchen plus a euro laundry.
There were multiple tv’s so our children were happy for some alone time at night.
Of course the highlight was the magnificent outdoor spa which we used 3 times in the short time we stayed.

Finally we want to say how fantastic the young man at reception was to deal with.
Really charming and helpful.
When we returned to check out he was assisting with wine tastings and he was incredible knowledgeable and a wealth of knowledge on the history of the estate and the region.

We hope to be back in beautiful Napier soon and this place is a must.

Loved staying here

So glad we booked this accommodation for our 2 night stay in Hawkes Bay.
The Farmhouse which is situated overlooking vineyards, the winery and hills beyond is simply idyllic.
After checking in at the winery we soon settled into the Farmhouse which has all the home comforts and modern appliances you need for your stay. 
Sitting on the lovely decking sampling the complimentary bottle of bubbly was a great way to unwind after the mornings drive. Soon followed by a dip in the hot tube, what more could you want! Well then of course there was a fantastic meal up at the Winery, thoroughly recommended.
On our second night we decided to avail of the BBQ facilities and enjoyed a couple of steaks with a great bottle of Red🍷
Would have loved to have stayed longer, this really is a get away from all the hustle & bustle.

Idyllic 

We stayed here for two nights, the farmhouse is  in a lovely setting on the edge of the vineyard. The staff at the winery didn’t seem to be very sure of the letting procedure so possibly a training issue there or perhaps a new member of staff. The house itself was very comfortable and clean and well equipped with good WiFi and lovely spa pool. Plenty of wildlife to watch in the vineyard which was an added bonus and a Christmas tree was also a lovely touch. The only downside for me was the cooker which I felt needed a good clean, especially the oven.

Lovely surroundings

The farmhouse is spacious (it turned out that we were the only guests during our two-night stay), sunny, quiet, clean, comfortable, well appointed.  It’s set in the middle of the vineyard, with great views.  The Mission Estate restaurant is excellent, but if you want to spend less, there are good restaurants in Taradale, only minutes away.  We’d love to stay there again.
