Such a lively place to stay , I stayed here twice during my stay first night of my holiday and the last and it was the best experience the cabin was fabulous very clean and so spacious. Enjoyed every moment and check in was great all facilities were amazing and staff were so helpful. Would gladly stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

Lovely location, Can watch the sun coming up over Waiheke island from my open tent flap! This is a really good small campground with old school care provided

Kitchen has dishwash liquid and scrubbers, sponges, hand towels, laundry had iron and ironing board

An upgrade is planned in April. I hope they retain the old school stainless steel sink benches and the gorgeous 1960s hand rails - made from scaffolding! Be cool to re-use!

We cannot thank the owner of this campsite enough, he turned a very stressful day into one of calm & happiness. Having been victims of a smash & grab on our motor home whilst downtown in Auckland and having had our suitcases stolen just a few hours beforehand. We limped with no window in our camper to this campsite & due to the dramas that had gone before, we arrived out of normal working hours. Luckily they had left a number to call in case of emergency which we rang and a friendly and  happy to help gentleman said he would head down to the site to see us which he did. He then booked us in to a safe pitch after taping a tarpaulin to close off the van window, keeping us safe & warm for the night.  We were up early next morning to the most beautiful view and sunrise, then after being able to take a warm shower we felt in high spirits to sort the van and continue on for our next adventures. We felt the help given to us was over & beyond expectations & we really appreciated it. 1st class service in a great location just wish we had more time to explore and sample the coffee from the cute coffee shop at the front of the campsite. Great place to stay in the heart of Takapuna and right on the beach. It is a social spot during the day with lots of people and shops close by, but it is also very quiet and relaxing. I was lulled to sleep by the gentle swish of the ocean. They are also dog friendly, which was a wonderful bonus. We will definitely be returning!

The most beautiful caravan park I’ve had the pleasure to stay in. 
The bathrooms were immaculate with glass shower doors and handbasins in each cubicle. The concrete pads were large and each had its own picnic table on the adjacent lawn area.

We absolutely loved this spot. The waterfront powered sites are amazing with a view of both Takapuna beach and Rangitoto Island. It’s also very close to lots of eats in Takapuna. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and kept us in mind when a waterfront spot became available. Would highly recommend this holiday park!

We stayed in our pop top for a couple of nights.  The location is fantastic and just a stroll away from all Takapuna Beach has to offer.  The managers are friendly and really did go the extra mile when we needed to sort out a problem we had with our Pop top.  Thank you for a great stay!

3 x 7.4 meter motor homes booked for 1 night 23 Jan, circumstances changed when a member of our party of 8 became ill and was in hospital for 3 days, these folk were outstanding, to accomodate us one camper had to move twice because the sites were booked, we stayed 6 nights in total.
Sure facilities are old but extremely clean, they are going through consent with the council to revamp the ground, wow it will be outstanding when complete, im sure folk will find it hard to book in then.

The greeting was very friendly and arrival and departure processes straightforward. We very much appreciated the hot showers and superb beach front location. Sadly we only had one night, I hope we get back here to explore more. 

I like being by the sea in Auckland and that's why I like the camp. When I visited the camp I saw it was in a state of change due to the coming development of the park. I was about to book another visit but I am 70 and told to stay at home. It is a great place to pull in in a campervan the facilities are good due to the coming upgrades  I look forward to my next visit.  At present, the facilities are clean and tidy. I might be able to self isolate in my camper for a few days but I will have to ask the owner I remember survey attracting 15,000 people who  said yes to the campground now that's not bad

Beautiful view, wonderful  proprietors and staff, great stay.

Very friendly custodians and great location 

Spent a night here in one of the camps Portacabins to share the weekend with friends in their camper vans. They were located in magnificent waterfront sites and the porta cabins are towards the back of the site with no view but only 30 seconds walk to the beach..

Facilities are a little tired, I believe that there is a program about to start to update the bathrooms and kitchen. Not before time, but the view and position of the camp makes up for their condition.

A few minutes walk to the cafes and bars of Takapuna,

Position can not be beaten.

The female staff member of the management team was terrific to deal with.
