Great place to stay! Jannie is very friendly and the house was perfect. It is located close to Amsterdam which is convenient. The rooms were very neat and tidy. And the kitchen had everyhing we needed.

Great place! 

We stayed for a long weekend with our extended family, it was very pleasant. The canal deck is great and there are many kid friendly activities to do in the neighborhood.
The large kitchen and dining area were perfect for communal dinners.

Pleasant family friendly stay

We spent three wonderful days at the farmhouse of Jannie and Simon Sant. Our sons loved discovering the animals. Our room was spacious and the location of the farm was bucolic. Highly recommended for families with young children. Jannie is a perfect hostess, who will give you all the necessary advice to visit the area.

It's a lovely stay in the green

In April, we went on a journey with people with disabilities to Holland. We were all very happy with the farm. There was a lot to do and experience. The host also asked us to take a one-hour farm tour every day. We were allowed to use the freshly laid eggs and caress and arm all the animals. The hosts also provided canoes and trampolines and they were very hospitable. There was also an opportunity to drive a tractor with people with disabilities. We had a pleasant stay. The rooms were very clean, tidy and spacious. The rooms were very decorative and themed with animals. The dining room below was a more comfortable, as well as a free toilet. We loved the next bathroom. Thank you very much for the next time.

In January I reserved for my family an appartment for august at Overleekerhoeve.
Due to covid-19 limitations and international flight cancellation, in June I had to cancel our reservation, more than 1 month before our arrival.
The manager of  Overleekerhoeve refused to refund the down payment, although I can see they have already occupied the apartment we left.
Pay attention if you make any reservation and never book directly with Overleekerhoeve, use only external platforms with the refund warranty.

We had a beautiful farm on the banks of a navigable canal with the possibility of carrying out activities such as canoeing and pedaling included in the price. Our children liked it very much despite not breathing a climate of total serenity towards the children, often yelled at by the impatient owners. Unfortunately we happened to be in an unfortunate week because: there was a meeting of people who monopolized the entertainment room/kitchen; for various reasons the activity of milking cows was not even carried out.

It could have been better.

I visited the farm with my two, teenaged daughters. It is quite a trek (c 30 minutes) from bus stop to farm, for those without a car. However, it is doable and enables you to chill out in the countryside but still get to the city or surrounding area relatively quickly. We visited Edam and could easily have got to Volendam and other spots via the frequent bus service. Central Amsterdam was equally easy.

The accommodation is spotlessly clean, the breakfast was ample, the pedalos were a great way to explore the canals, being particularly magical in the early evening, and the fresh milk was delicious.

The highlight, though, was Jannie.  She was the hostess with the mostest. She really couldn't have done more for us.

Delightful!

We stayed 4 nights in an apartment and it was great, the apartment was big, clean and had everything we needed. Jannie let us play with toys that they had in the farm and there were a lot of toy trucks for the children to play.

Amazing for children

We we're 2 families for 7 nights in the farm the place is great, clean, rooms arespacious and the kitchen is fully equipped to accommodate a needy family, The owner Jenny and her husband will do almost anything to satisfy your needs,plant of activities on the farm private dock with pedal boats and kanos for the guests this is a vacation you will not want to miss.
