Booked this at the last minute on a hotel booking site. Compared with our previous hotel 115 Euros per night this was expensive at 170.00 Euros inc a modelst breakfast. Room was up a flight of steel stairs. The top stair level was unstable. We had a double bedroom with a bathroom in between. Bedroom one had a double bed jammed up against a wall with a very narrow passage down just one side to get into bed. Bedroom two had two single beds in a very small room.  The linen was old and quite worn. The bathroom was clean but my bathtowel had a large worn hole in it, Breakfast was adequate yoghurt, some fruit, a boiled egg, bread etc. While the owner was very nice it reminded me of place that had seen much better times in the past.  Would not recommend!

Overpriced B & B

The owner is an artist from Africa and has decorated every room and breakfast room with love. The garden is also very well maintained. I immediately welcomed myself here and enjoyed the African spirit. The breakfast was simple but delicious and sufficient. I look forward to my next visit in August.

Cozy little hotel with super lovely owners

I cannot rave about this place enough.

The B&B has a range of rooms: My family was put in a lovely fit for purpose Jack and Jill suite,  while the couple we were traveling with had a large chic double room and ensuite.

Lovely airy dining room. However, most days we chose to eat ( with so many options) outside. We were the first lot of visitors post the lifting of Covid restrictions, and liked the sound of this place as it has numerous sitting places outside.

There is a huge pondlike feature with massive  that attracts the birds, we saw a number of herons and nesting swans and Coots daily at the B&B. There is also an active  dam (we did not see the  though).

The B&B is popular with cyclists and families alike.

There are a number of cycle routes and walks. There is really something for everyone.
5 -10 mins walk to Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet
5 -10 mins in the opposite direction is a  walk on which we spotted some .
The B&B is on the outskirts of an extremely affluent superb, one day we just walk around it, admiring people's houses.
30 Mins walk to a secluded

Great themed B+B with friendly staff, who will go the extra mile, Food was amazing and very reasonably priced for what you get for your money. Fari was a magnificent hostess and did everything she could to make you feel welcome

For 90 euros, the price ratio is not very basic, the room has air running through it, it is impossible to put the heater on, we have been cold all night.

Disappointing

Loved the room which was kind of motel like in set-up with good furniture. Charming and very welcoming host and an amazing breakfast. Loved it! I need to add me words otherwise the review won't get published but I have nothing more to add. Place is amazing. Loved it.

Super!

We stayed there four nights; from 10-17 July 2017. The house was very clean with good breakfast. Very friendly owner who catered for our every need. It is in a quiet area close to a golf resort. Lots of grassed lawn all around the house to walk or play in. Close to Batavia Stad.

Great B&B, Quiet and Relaxing.

Starting with the positive parts the shower water after a while gets pretty hot and the net of the place works pretty well. However the main feature of the place is the lack of hygiene, everywhere you look or see dust, spider webs and even on the bed there was sand... the bathroom towels are tiny and the breakfast table towels are dirty and rusty.

I enjoyed this place.  I had a room accessed by its own set of patio doors backing onto a patio with table and chairs and beyond that a lawn and a waterway frequented by coots and moorhens - my own private nature reserve!  Something different, and very pleasant after a week of staying in cities.  

Room pretty well appointed - fairly ordinary / suburban feel to it, but by no means spartan or scruffy.  Everything, apart from the curtain (which was a bit stiff - and the host apologised for in advance) worked and was clean.  Extra marks for having plug sockets accessible when you are sitting in bed (why oh why do so many places not get that this is important).  

Only downside was that the west-facing room got very hot indeed.  This could be cured by opening the patio doors at night and using the very powerful fan in the room.  However, this did mean that I got a bit bitten by midgets (possibly I wasn't careful enough closing the curtain around the open gap in the door to keep them out.  Also, some people would perhaps not feel comfortable having open patio doors on a ground-floor room at night.

The lady host was very welcoming and spoke excellent English.

Only wish I could have stayed a little longer.

Hotel with the feel of a private waterside, country chalet

Great location, minutes walk from Bataviastad  shops, Bataviastad Harbour and Markermeer lake.

Lovely, clean rooms,  some of which are on the ground floor (really handy for us as we had a push chair).

Breakfast was way above average and the staff are always very accommodating.

Beautiful grounds, whilst not on Markermeer Lake itself, this B&B has a large  pond, with huge fish, and attracts a variety  of birds.

Plenty of parking.
