We had an excellent stay at this family run boutique hotel. The staff are amazing, nothing was too much trouble. We especially loved the touches of hospitality that the hotel offers the guests, including a welcome drink of (tea/coffee/wine) on arrival, and a beautiful gift as a goodbye gesture. The room we booked was a twin room in the main hotel building. The room was spotless, large and the twin beds were extremely comfortable (they have three different categories of twin rooms ranging in sizes, ours was the middle category). The hotel is located within the canal district, it is about a 20min walk into the centre of town, however the metro station is a 2min walk away so you can access the airport and central station with ease. We thought that the hotel was very well located, as Amsterdam is very spread out. We felt the hotel was central to all areas (including the museum district and Vondel Park) all around 20min by foot.The hotel does not currently offer breakfast however there are many local award winning brunch spots close by, so this was not an issue for us.
