We were impressed with this hotel before we even arrived. A few days before our arrival, they contacted us to ask if we wanted them to arrange for a taxi to pick us up at the airport. This was a first for me - I've asked hotels to do this, but never has it been offered before. This made our arrival in Amsterdam completely stress free as our taxi was waiting for us when we landed. The room was quite basic but was clean and the beds were comfortable. We lucked out and had a patio that we could relax on and string up our clothes line when we washed our clothes. There is a convenience store across the road and a bar fridge in the room so we could pick up food and keep it cold. We like to do this for breakfast. The location was good and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. Our three nights here were everything we could have asked for. Ninette and Paul are wonderful hosts and very helpful whenever we needed information. I would highly recommend this hotel.
