In Negentien Vijf

We stayed one night in the room shown in our photos I understand there is a second which we did not see. The premises are in a great location for exploring the town only yards from the main shopping street and the historic sites. There is no parking in the area and the car parks are expensive the owner will direct you to park in Hogeweg which is about a 10 minute walk away and is a public road (we left our car there overnight and on a second day trip for the day). It's the best place we could find free but check Google for the distance/directions. Situated on a pedestrianized side street the room was at the front at street level with direct access into the room and 2 large windows either side of a central door. The curtains and blinds provide the necessary privacy and there was no evening/night noise. The room was clean tidy and modern it had all you would expect from a B&B including a Nespresso machine. Two minor niggles no wardrobe to hang clothes though the photos show what appear to be wardrobes the are not and only two hangers to hang clothes which may be ok for an overnight stay but when we were there it rained and we had to choose between hanging wet or dry. The room is large and as can be seen there is a kitchenette sitting area and what can be best described as an open plan toilet/wash. There are no doors to the actual wash area or toilet itself, if you are on the bed or near to it you can see a person on the toilet. Breakfast was a large continental including all you could wish for and more first rate. All in all excellent value and if you don't mind the open plan toilet and lack of parking its an ideal venue.
