459 reviewsEnded up staying here 3 times for short periods throughout our 7 weeks travelling/trekking in Nepal. Every time we stayed, it felt as good as returning home. The staff were so friendly and welcoming every time. The rooms are beautiful and clean with great facilities. After returning from trekking I was struggling with health issues and needed to go to hospital (obviously a stressful experience when overseas) the staff called me an ambulance at 2am and waited with me as it arrived. They went as far as to even give me a little shoulder massage to make me feel better while I waited. I cannot express how appreciative I am to international guest house for how caring and supportive they were throughout our trip. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Thamel!
